Brookfield Residential provides an independent and objective individual Home Energy Rating System or "HERS" score for every new home we build. With the HERS Index® Rating, you'll know just how efficient your new Brookfield home will really be.
A home with a HERS rating of 72 is 28% more efficient than a standard new home.
*HERS "Home Energy Rating" Index. Based on the HERS Index®, a home built to 2006 International Energy Conservation Code scores a 100, while a "net zero energy home" scores a 0. So, the lower a home's HERS rating, the more energy efficient it is in comparison to the reference home. Brookfield Residential provides an accurate HERS Index® rating for every new home we build, certified by an independent third-party auditor.
